Disneyland 2024 Seasonal Events
Lunar New Year at Disney California Adventure Park Running Jan 23- Feb 18
DCA will ring in the Year of the Dragon with a joyous tribute to Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures. Returning this year will be “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession” led, of course, by Mushu! Guests will be immersed in culture surrounded by vibrant décor and amazing Asian-inspired dishes and beverages to sample! Celebrate Gospel at Disneyland Park Feb 17 and 24
For over a decade, a beloved tradition “Celebrate Gospel” is returning to Disneyland Park. Brace yourself for an awe-inspiring tribute to Gospel music featuring the talents of award-winning Gospel music stars, accomplished recording artists, and impassioned community choirs, each bringing their unique and stirring style to the forefront. Setting the Fantasyland Theatre stage ablaze will be headlined by Marvin Sapp (Feb. 17) and Tasha Cobbs Leonard (Feb. 24). Anaheim Duck Days at Disney California Adventure Park Feb. 22-23
To honor the Anaheim Ducks Hockey Club’s 30th-anniversary milestone, Disneyland proudly presents an exhilarating extravaganza. Step into the enchanting world of Plaza de la Familia at Paradise Gardens with a dazzling tribute to Disney and Pixar’s Academy Award®-winning masterpiece, Coco. Be captivated by the heartwarming journey presented by the engaging Storytellers of Plaza de la Familia as they weave tales complemented by beloved songs from Coco. Guest will also be able to make cherished memories by meeting the charming protagonist, Miguel, and snap a photo to treasure forever.
Pay homage to your loved ones at the iconic Mexican Árbol de la Vida (Tree of Life), where you can leave heartfelt messages on the Memory Wall. Infuse the spirit of remembrance as you express your deepest sentiments, creating an enduring tribute to those who hold a special place in your heart. And while you’re here, get creative and design your very own paper alebrije masks inspired by Dante and Pepita.
You’ll get to experience the soulful rhythms of Mariachi concerts serenading from the bandstand and indulge in mouthwatering Mexican cuisine at the Paradise Garden Grill.
At Disneyland Park, festivities will take place as Frontierland hosts a very special tribute to Día de los Muertos! El Zócalo Park will be adorned with iconic skeleton figurines known as calacas, portraying a lively trio of mariachi musicians. Amidst the vibrant décor, you can expect to find an array of brightly colored flowers and ornamental items reminiscent of those seen in traditional ofrendas during the Day of the Dead festivities. Holidays Throughout the Disneyland Resort Begins November 15th
The entire Disneyland Resort will again Deck the Halls at the Parks, in the Resorts, and throughout Downtown Disney. Whether you want to immerse yourself in the holiday spirits, experience time-limited attraction overlays, or snag some amazing photos, the Disneyland Resorts offers everyone opportunities for special holiday memories! To catch all the festivities, be ready to check out the Resort beginning November 15, 2024.
Disneyland After Dark Events
Mark your calendars because the time to purchase tickets for the January – March events is opening in December 2023! Magic Key holders can start purchasing on December 12th. December 14th is the date for the general public to purchase tickets. For all of the Disney After Dark events, the parties officially start at 9 pm; However, event guests can enter the park as early at 6 pm. Plus, you will NOT need to make a theme park reservation!
Costumes are encouraged, just remember to follow Disney’s Costume Guidelines. Each themed event will have unique entertainment, characters, photo-ops, and food. Your ticket also allows you unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos taken during the party
And let’s not forget – shorter wait times at the attractions!!! The ticket price will start at $139 per Guest ages 3 and up. OK, so let’s take a look at what special-themed events will be offered in 2024!
Sweethearts’ Nite Jan 23, 25, 30; Feb 1, 6, 8, 12, 14
Experience the celebration of “L’Amour” at Disneyland. Whether you’re planning a date night with your special someone, a fun-filled besties’ outing, or just ready to experience fairytale romance in the air with family and friends, these enchanting Sweetheart Nite events are the perfect choice. The evening promises heart-filled unique experiences for all attendees to cherish. For instance, activities like:
- A cavalcade of Disney’s favorite royals making its way through Disneyland Park,
- The Royal Ball is where attendees can dance along with princesses, princes, and Disney characters.
- A fun-filled Dance Party hosted by Stitch and Angel at the stage in Tomorrowland.
- Visits by some rarely seen Disney Characters will be found throughout the park.
- Themed photo backdrops, located throughout the park, will offer guests the chance to be transported into some of Disney’s most iconic scenes of love and friendship! Be sure to find your favorite from “Lady and the Tramp,” “Tangled,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Aladdin,” and more.
- Special lighting, projections, and music to “Create the mood” for romance throughout the park.
- For foodie lovers, there will be Sweethearts’ Nite-specific treats offered throughout the park. New this year will be a shortbread cookie churro with strawberry cheesecake dipping sauce and Café Daisy’s fried heart-shaped ravioli. Some returning favorites will also be available, like the Chocolate & Strawberry-stuffed croissant from Jolly Holiday Bakery Café.
- Guests can pick up specialty menu items at Plaza Inn, Cafe Orleans, River Belle Terrace, and Carnation Café. Reservations will be available to book online. Be sure to check at Disneyland.com/Dining for reservation windows to open.
Disney Channel Nite Mar. 5 & 7
Prepare to immerse yourself in an exciting, nostalgic event with Disney Channel Nite! This unique celebration brings out the beloved elements from classic Disney Channel shows spanning different eras of programming. Join up with fellow Disney Channel enthusiasts to relish this remarkable evening, featuring an impressive lineup of offerings.
- Take part in the “High School Musical” pep rally taking place on the streets of Disneyland Park!
- A dance party in Tomorrowland hosted by those amazing brothers, Phineas and Ferb! Best of all, you’ll be able to catch appearances by your favorite “Phineas and Ferb” characters!
- Did someone say KARAOKE?!?!?! Yup! At the Golden Horseshoe Saloon, guests can take turns singing their favorite songs at the Camp Rock karaoke party. This activity will alternate with the Ultimate Disney Channel Trivia Challenge.
- Board the Sailing Ship Columbia for a special cruise along the Rivers of America with music from the “Descendants” trilogy.
- Eventgoers will be able to enjoy special iconic photo backdrops representing Disney Channel shows and movies, like “Lizzie McGuire,” “The Cheetah Girls,” “Teen Beach Movie” and more.
- Enjoy unique dining experiences and event-night-only sweet and savory menu options throughout the park. Mini banana burritos, tropical banana punch, chili cheese loaded nachos, and s’mores donut skewers. There will also be dining packages available. So keep an eye out for details coming soon.

Star Wars fans take notice….Star Wars Nites are coming back! Because Star Wars Nites takes place during Season of the Force, expect a galaxy-filled amount of fun. Details are taking a little extra time to be received in the Outer Rim. So, keep checking back with Disneyland.com for more info.

The very first Disneyland After Dark Pride Nite took place in 2023 and thankfully it will be returning in 2024. You can be sure to expect amazing entertainment, colorful characters, special photo ops, and more!
