Disney in the ’80s – Was It Really “The Disney Decade”?

This week, we’re celebrating our upcoming visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth” for Disneyland After Dark: ’80s Nite by looking back at everything Disney in the ’80s. Michael Eisner proclaimed it “The Disney Decade” but some consider it a dark time for the Walt Disney Company. So, which one is it? We’ll discuss many of the things that happened during that period and give our conclusions as to how we should look back at this interesting time in Disney history.

Once we wrap up our look at Disney in the ’80s, it’s time for the Disney Stories of the Week. This episode, we shared a new way to plan ahead for your chance to pilot “The Fastest Hunk of Junk in the Galaxy” at the Walt Disney World Resort. We also discussed more ways to experience Star Wars on your next Disney Cruise. As well as a new Pixar short film that will delve into what happened to Bo Peep during her time away from the rest of the Toy Story gang.
