Disney Found Families with Tony the Disney Dad

We’ve observed a consistent theme in Disney films and shows—one that stands out prominently. This theme is Found Family! It revolves around the idea of uniting individuals who form a deep connection, often unrelated by blood. This concept plays a significant role in many of the beloved franchises we cherish. So we thought this would be a great time to talk about it with one of our favorite people who knows all about this topic. That’s right, for this week’s show, we’re talking all about Disney Found Families with Tony the Disney Dad. We discuss some of our favorite films that focus on this theme and share why we think it’s so important.

As Tony mentioned on the show if you have any interest in looking into becoming a Foster Parent, the National Foster Parent Association is a great place to start!

If you missed our “special” show that Tony pointed out, we invite you to take a listen: A Very Special Hyperion Adventures Podcast Episode.

Once we complete our chat about Disney Found Families with Tony the Disney Dad, it’s time for the Disney Stories of the Week. In this episode, we unveiled details of the Pixar Place Hotel. This newly reimaged hotel just had its grand re-opening at the Disneyland Resort! Finally, although we are a Disney-focused podcast, we had to talk about all the Epic stuff that was announced at Universal Orlando.

As always, we wrap it all up with tips that might help you on your next vacation.
