Disney Gables on Change

This week, we continue our celebration of a century of the Walt Disney Company with another look back at its history. For this episode, we discuss Disney At 100 – Disney Gables on Change.  Michelle once again brings her always outstanding research to the show as we explore how during the period of 1948-1955, the company needed to handle change.  So Disney created some new lines of business, including the new medium of television. This visionary perspective played to the company’s advantage and changed the industry. Listen to hear interesting tidbits and fun facts about this amazing era for the company.

Once we complete our look at this segment of Disney At 100, we share a little story about how we discovered that Customer Service Magic still exists in a big way at the Walt Disney World Resort. Trust us! You’re going to want to hear this part of the show!

Next, it’s time for the Disney Stories of the Week. In this episode, we share details about a couple of amazing, ticketed, nighttime events that are returning to the Disneyland Resort. Speaking of The Happiest Place On Earth, we share a travel deal that may be of particular interest to you if you’re planning of traveling from the Disneyland area to the Walt Disney World vicinity, or vice versa.
