Disney At 100 – The 40s & 50s – Disney Gambles On Change

This week, we continue our celebration of a century of the Walt Disney Company with another look back at its history. For this episode, we discuss Disney At 100 – Disney Gables on Change.  Michelle once again brings her always outstanding research to the show as we explore how during the period of 1948-1955, the company needed to handle change.  So Disney created some new lines of business, including the new medium of television. This visionary perspective played to the company’s advantage and changed the industry. Listen to hear interesting tidbits and fun facts about this amazing era for the company.
